How water is made from air.
Atmospheric water generation collects moisture already present in the air. The AW70 Freedom uses electricity to cool humid air and collect the resulting condensate.
From humidity to collected water
Draw in ambient air
A fan moves air across a cooled surface. A ventilated position lets the machine access surrounding air.
Cool below the dew point
Water vapour condenses into liquid when the air is cooled sufficiently, much like droplets forming on a cold surface.
Filter the collected water
The supplied filtration configuration treats the collected water. Confirm which filtration stages and optional accessories are included, and follow the maintenance instructions for your machine.
Collect and use
Water is collected in a suitable vessel. Keep the collection system clean and follow the supplied handling guidance.
Temperature and humidity determine output
The AW70 Freedom is rated up to 70 litres/day at 30°C and 80% relative humidity. Cooler or drier conditions reduce the moisture available for collection. A rated capacity alone cannot predict year-round production at your property.
Electricity, airflow, operating time and servicing also affect performance. For a home, lodge or office, compare expected production with actual drinking-water demand and plan storage and backup supply accordingly.
